Critically
acclaimed dancer, Kim Gibilisco offers her first full evening solo
concert highlighting her choreographic and performing skills.
Gibilisco’s one-woman concert incorporates multimedia works and
collaborations with video artist, Eric Dunlap and features original
music by Tigger Benford. Teaching residencies may include daily
modern dance technique, improvisation, choreography, repertory,
original commission and/or Pilates. *Kim and Eric toured the world with
Nikolais Dance Theatre.

Touring Program (approximately 45-55 minutes running time followed by
an audience on-stage experiential with the video and lighting
technology used in the performance)
“Lensascompass”

A collaboration with composer/percussionist Tigger Benford and
multimedia artists of Forward Motion Theater, Eric Dunlap.
Inspired by the processes of self-portrait artists, "Lensascompass"
features the use of hidden cameras and live image capture technology
like mirrors to guide the audience on a journey of mutual
self-discovery.

A multimedia work that takes an inside look at the formative years of
Gibilisco’s dance career and tribute to her dance mentors.

7 minutes
A new solo to a score by Gibilisco that uses lighting technology
triggered by Gibilisco’s movement to illuminate movement and space from
a fresh perspective.

A multimedia work inspired by her study of Authentic Movement, this
solo is performed blindfolded. Gibilisco is directed through
space by sound cues, which are given live by collaborator, Eric Dunlap,
who also creates live mixed video projections using live image capture
technology.
