Thodos Dance Chicago is a critically acclaimed contemporary dance company that features a fresh, vibrant, award winning style of dance. The company brings a unique blend of elegance, athleticism, and innovation to American contemporary dance, performing works created by founder and artistic director Melissa Thodos, Tony Award-winner Ann Reinking, west coast choreographer Amy Ernst, and works choreographed by its very talented pool of ensemble members. Thodos Dance Chicago performs dances that appeal to a wide audience and its members are technically strong dancers, talented choreographers, and committed educators.

Tours with 10-12 dancers
Repertory Program
Mix of work by critically acclaimed guest choreographers, Melissa Thodos, and company choreographers selected from New Dances. Can include works like Anasa, which is based on Melissa’s Greek heritage and dedicated to the fires in Greece.
Fosse Trilogy
A new program with 3 works by Bob Fosse, with transition choreography by Ann Reinaing, which focuses on the value of the history in American dance.
