As a fully professional dance company with outstanding credentials, State Street Ballet attracts dancers from around the world and teams with top-notch choreographers to produce new works that showcase the company's signature elegant-but-edgy tone.

Founded in 1995, the company remains dedicated to promoting original dance through public performances and educational outreach programs. The company tours domestically and internationally, boasting a 90% rebooking rate. Original touring productions from State Street Ballet include Cinderella, The Nutcracker, The Jungle Book, and Carmen. In the Spring of 2012 An American Tango will also be offered.

Touring Programs
-Arts outreach performances, and community outreach available. Study guides provided for all programs.
-All productions have 18-20 dancers, including company manager, tech director, and costumer.
-Cinderella and Nutcracker can use up to 40 young community dancers.
-Note that all programs are available to tour with beautiful sets and stunning video projections (State Street Ballet travels with its own high end projector). For theaters with limited fly space, extensive video projections are available as scenery backdrops.

Jungle Book
Be transported to the fabled jungle of Rudyard Kipling?s India as you experience the visual and sensual delights of this world-premiere production by State Street Ballet. Set to an original score by Milan Svoboda of the Czech Republic, with costumes by A. Christina Giannini and sets by French designer Jean-Francois Revon, this exciting new work will spark the spirit of adventure in audiences of all ages.

Carmen
With scintillating choreography by William Soleau the score by Bizet is brought to life. As magnetic and compelling as Carmen?s red dress, this tragic tale of desire, jealousy, and betrayal follows a young military officer as he is fatefully drawn to the charms of a Gypsy girl.

Cinderella
The evil stepsisters, the handsome Prince, the Fairy Godmother - all your favorite characters come to life in this enchanting ballet. Set to Prokofiev?s enduring score, with digital multi-media effects, and superb sets, Cinderella is the timeless story of rags to riches.

The Nutcracker

Christina Giannini, and opulent sets designed and created in Moscow, the Nutcracker?s story enchants as never before.
