This energetic company combines their fresh, athletic dance style with an eclectic blend of music created and performed with a live band. The group's four dancers and four musicians are flawlessly and often humorously integrated in the performance, creating beautiful and clever works in which dance, music, and theatre are inseparable. Rebecca Stenn Company has been featured in Altogether Different at The Joyce Theater (NYC) with its signature works program including audience favorite Carmen Suites. Recent seasons include performances at Danspace Project at St. Mark's Church where the company premiered their critically acclaimed new evening length work Blue Print.

An evening of classic pieces that have been in the company's repertoire for up to 12 years. The works include the company signature works The Carmen Suites, Left of Fall, Zimzun, Seventh Wave, and Embrace.

Blue Print

This full evening length performance includes three musicians performing live original music and often interacting with the dancers, and has a set designed by Jodi Kaplan.

Outreach

Rebecca Stenn Company has worked with multi-generational groups of people in settings that involve creating an evening length performance, to a workshop class to a lecture demonstration. The company has performed at Senior Homes, elementary and high schools and institutions for the physically and mentally challenged. In the most recent community work the company created, the cast ranged in age from 3 year olds to 75 year olds.
